Future Projects
Strategic Planning for 2014-2017
After the completion of the pilot project in the Philippines, future projects aim to see holistic development in a number of communities in the Philippines and eventually extended to South America (Peru), Africa (Uganda) and regions of the world that need support. We do this by running community-led and designed development projects which will focus on tapping into existing local resources and initiatives to create local ownership and ensure the projects continue long term.
This will be the future growth of Frontline Foundation. We will be prepared for the challenges and hard work ahead but we believe it’s worth the effort as together we make a difference in empowering communities ... one community at a time.
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; Teach a man to fish; you feed him until the water (pond, river, ocean) dries up;
Teach a man to think (problem solve) and you feed him for life."
The following communities have been identified to date:
-
Barangay Magang, Daet, Camarines Norte, Philippines
-
Barangay San Luis, Cogeo, Antipolo, Philippines
- Community in Peru
-
Community in Kampala, Uganda
For the Philippines, community profiling and assessment workshops are scheduled during the period June - August 2014 to lay the baseline and provide input to the strategic planning process for their community development plans.
